About this tool
Authority is not something you declare. It’s what someone finds when they go looking — which means the useful question is never “how do I become the authority,” it’s what evidence exists right now that another person would recognize as expertise.
So this is an inventory, not a plan. It counts what’s published and findable today. Most agents have never counted, and the number is almost always smaller than the feeling. Under ten pieces isn’t a body of work yet — a stranger finds a few things and no pattern, and the pattern is the whole mechanism.
Then it checks the count against the claim. You pick five subjects you want to be known for, and mark whether each one actually has anything behind it. A subject you claim with nothing published on it is a preference, not a specialty — and it’s the thing that quietly costs you referrals, because the person who would recommend you has nothing to point at.
It does the same with the questions you hear repeatedly. The ones with no published answer become your content calendar, already prioritized by what people actually ask. And it counts who vouches for you, because authority travels through people faster than it travels through content.
Comes after the Niche Opportunity Scorecard and the Recognition Channel Planner. Those decide what and where. This one measures whether it exists.
