The Known Path Workbook™

Choosing a niche takes an afternoon. Becoming known for it takes a year. This is the year, organized.

A working build of the Known Path™ — five stones, walked in order. You choose the niche with real volume math, define it in one sentence, build the publishing rhythm that holds through a busy quarter, and measure the slow stretch so week eleven is data instead of doubt.

The Known Path Workbook — cover

Why this workbook exists

The niche isn’t the hard part.

Most agents can name a niche they’d be good at inside of five minutes. Lake homes. Downsizing. The neighborhood they actually live in. The choice is rarely the obstacle.

The obstacle is month three, when you’ve posted faithfully for eleven weeks, nothing has visibly happened, and there is no evidence anywhere that this is working. That’s the stretch between Visibility and Recognition, and it is where nearly every niche gets abandoned — not from a decision, but from a quiet drift back to posting about everything.

Reading about the path doesn’t get you through that stretch. Having the next twelve weeks already written down does, along with a way to see the movement that’s happening before the results show up.

The agents who own a niche today aren’t more talented. They just didn’t stop in week eleven.

Each stone gets its own chapter, its own work, and its own way of measuring progress — so you can tell the difference between a niche that isn’t working and a niche that isn’t finished.

The spine of the book

Five stones. One at a time, in order.

The order isn’t decorative. You can’t build visibility around a niche you haven’t defined, and you can’t be trusted for something nobody knows you do.

1

Clarity

One niche, one sentence, no hedging — specific enough to own and large enough to feed you.

What you build

  • Your shortlist, scored against market size and competition
  • The volume math: how much of the niche you’d need, in real numbers
  • Your one sentence, tested until a neighbor could repeat it

2

Visibility

One channel, one cadence, and a topic bank deep enough that a busy week doesn’t break it.

What you build

  • The single channel your niche actually gathers on
  • A publishing rhythm sized to a real week, not an ideal one
  • Twelve weeks of topics, written before week one

3

Recognition

The long stretch. Where the work is done and the market hasn’t caught up yet.

What you build

  • A 90-day tracker that shows movement before results arrive
  • The early signals worth counting — mentions, questions, tags
  • Your plan for week eleven, written while you’re still optimistic

4

Trust

Recognition means they remember you. Trust means they believe you.

What you build

  • Your depth inventory: what you know that a generalist doesn’t
  • The demonstration pieces that show work rather than claim it
  • A quarterly authority review you’ll actually complete

5

Chosen

What other people do with the first four — and how you hold the position once it’s yours.

What you build

  • The language that makes your niche easy for others to repeat
  • A referral path that names the niche before it names you
  • The maintenance rhythm that protects a position you’ve earned

How it’s structured

Three parts. Built to be worked, not read.

Part One

Choose and define

Score your options, run the volume math, and land on one niche stated in one sentence. You finish with a decision rather than a list — which is the whole difficulty of stone one.

Part Two

Build the rhythm

Pick the channel, set the cadence, and fill twelve weeks of topics in advance. The point is a publishing plan that survives the quarter where everything else goes sideways.

Part Three

Measure the slow stretch

Track the signals that move before the results do, run the quarterly authority review, and know the difference between a niche that’s failing and one that’s still early.

Roughly 30% reading, 70% work. If you finish a chapter with nothing written down, the chapter failed.

This is for you if

  • You’ve been meaning to pick a niche for longer than you’d like to admit
  • You’ve started before and drifted back to marketing to everyone
  • You want the volume math before you commit, not after
  • You can publish weekly if the topics are already decided
  • You’re staying independent and need systems, not a bigger payroll

This isn’t

  • A lead-generation program or a source of new strangers
  • A social media growth plan measured in followers
  • A book you read once and shelve
  • Dependent on any other Solo Agent Academy book — it stands alone
  • Software. It’s paper, on purpose, because paper gets used.

Don’t wait on the workbook

Stand on the first stone this week.

These six tools are free and live now. They won’t build the year or hold the rhythm — that’s what the workbook is for — but they’ll get you to a chosen niche, which is the part most agents never finish.

The Niche Quiz A starting point in a few minutes, based on your market and your history.
Niche Opportunity Scorecard Score a niche before you commit — size, competition, and fit.
Residential Property Niche Library Twenty-six property niches, with what each one actually takes.
Niche Recognition Channel Planner Pick the one channel your niche gathers on, and a cadence you can hold.
90-Day Niche Validation Tracker Measure the slow stretch, so week eleven is data instead of doubt.
Niche Authority Scorer Where your authority stands today, stone by stone.
